Terra cotta

Terra cotta from Soufflenheim is mostly used to cook food. 

Of various colors, this pottery can be plain-painted or
decorated with flowers, circles or polka dots.
 

Terra cotta can be used in oven: oval terrines
(to cook the famous “Baeckehof” ),
cooking pots, dish plates or cake moulds of various shapes
(“Kougelhopf”, christmas star, animals, etc...)
